PIMD War House of Vicious Assasins Vs. Zircon Universe

Club war usually occur during weekend because the players are free and they can find time to be online all day and all night (for some) coz there are no work to attend to.

My main club, prepared for this war against this powerful zircon universe. Zircon Universe is among the Top 25 in the VIP club or clubs that are powerful in PIMD. Plenty of the opponents  members have a good CS on the contrary this war is matched CS, means you can attack only with your the same cs.

I will not be part of this war.

What are the preparation needed in going for war:

  1. Check the rival clubs
  2. Buy defense pots that are available in the store, buy all those kind of pots. Image below shows how many defense pots I owned for the dance and fight attacks...
  3. Don't bring a lot of money during war, coz you might lost it all. So, invest it in tutors. Buy tutors for they can help also when you do attacks, they can give you good tutor bonus.
Learn your club reporting during war; each club has its own way...

well, good luck to my clubmates and to the opponent...

if you have some questions just leave your comments...ciao!

GaW: Breaking News!

hi guys,

Gangs At War admins released the update (v1.01) of the said iphone/ipod application. Since the day it came till at present, I find GaW a user friendly type of ATA games almost the same concept as PIMD. Not complicated and its easy to learn. I observed  most of the players from Kingdoms at War, Party In My Dorm and Future Combat gathers and playing Gangs at War.
Here the update:

Download Gangs At War please click...

  • Support for NEW mercenary rewards system.
  • Enable notification badge for wall posts.
  • Improved world chat and chat preview.
  • Tier 3 is also opened for those who have 22 lands.
Tier 3 Area bosses cost 5.7M and upgrading cost 4M-->7M--> and 11M.

For now am still saving to unlock tier 3.

Below is the Gaw admins message for the latest update...

The update has been released and purchasing has now been made available. In order to make purchases at the council you will need to upgrade to our latest version. If you still do not see any purchasing options you are still downloading the incorrect version. It may take awhile for the update to propagate to all of the apple stores. Please try again later.

This update also includes a variety of bug fixes and performance improvements. We are aware of the sound issue, please turn the volume all the way down for now. It is being worked on. Tier 3 has also been released and unlocked for players that have 22 lands.

    Happy Gawing

The update we released was meant to disable our gangs at war sounds and music if existing music was being played. Or silence the sound when the silence button was turned on, both of these are not working!

We are working on it, for now please turn the volume all the way down to disable. Or you can refer to Protip #1 and play music instead.

    PIMD: Tutor Profit

Its been awhile I was not active in PIMD because of some unexpected things that happened. The club that I owned, for the meantime I let my one of my admin to be the owner of it until I am fully recovered and can handle the club again.

Today, I opened my PIMD account and start reading the news ,asking some activities of my PIMD friends and updating myself.

I am very active in volley, each day I can volley minimum of 3 new players in PIMD helping and guiding them to have 5088cs or combined strenght and newbies will have the minimum hire value of $290M. However, with ATA's recent upgrades, they reduce the prices of the dorms and it affects the hire value of tutors. So, the hire value of 5088cs changed too.

Then, I found newbie(mostly they will post in the campus chat) for volley I started to volley it with 100M - 150M until 200M. I asked my club friend, how much is the tutor hire value of 5088cs, he said its 260M maximum. Well , the volley I had was just enough.

Good thing now in hiring tutor, you'll benefit everytime they will do updgrade on dorms, you'll get cut of the profit given by The Dean which is awesome...

Gangs at War: How to earn Money

How to earn Money, by doing:

Volleys - when two or more players hire the specific player.Example player A is the noob , has the low hire value and active. Player B, C and more can volley player A. Player A will earn small amount of money and players B, C and more can earn or gain money from the volley but the last player who will keep the player will  not earn however the player can benefit from the upgrade of player A at same time player's A current stats will give merc bonus to the player who will keep.

Jobs - this is the most convenient way to earn easy money in the game. You need to master the jobs 100% and earn adrenaline points to regenerate your power and respect and total payout of the job. The difficulty of the jobs depends on your current status. You will use your power and respect. As you go trough the jobs, you have the chance of failing because of your stats, so you need to save again money for the upgrade. You can repeat the jobs if you're done with it and earn.

Battle - any games has battles...of course you need to find opponents either you will farm it or just steal money from it. There are 3 methods in attacking opponents:

    1. Battle - Use your power and respect to defeat your enemy. If you succeed, you will earn a generous payout for your efforts.
    2. Case - Reveal your enemy's power and respect. if you succeed, you will learn your chance of success in a battle against them.
    3. Heist - Go covert and attempt to hit up your enemy's stash spot. if you succeed, your name will not be revealed to your enemy.
    I will update more...

Gangs at War: Items,Battles, Jobs, Favour Points and Crime Families

      When are defensive items used?
If you have defensive items, one of each item in your inventory is automatically used whenever someone attacks you. (you should buy defense item to protect you from random attacks)
      Respect Defense Items
      Power Defense Item

How do you use offensive items?
If you have offensive items, you will be prompted to choose the items you wish to use prior to battling or performing heists/cases someone.
      Power Offensive Items
      Respect Defense Items
      What are permanent items?
Permanent items are items that remain around forever. They give you a permanent enhancement to your stats.

Why did I lose a battle?
Whenever you fight a person, there is a probability that you will lose. Even if you are stronger than the person, you still have a small chance of losing the battle. To see the chances of you winning a battle, you must case them.

How come I lost more Power and Respect than my enemy even though I won?
You lost more because your bosses went the extra mile to ensure your victory. By having more Power/Respect when you enter into a battle, you may lose more but at the same time your chance of victory is higher.

Why does the difficulty of a job keep changing?
The difficulty of a job is based on your current stats. If you lose Power/Respect due to missions or battles, the difficulty of the missions will increase. If you regenerate units, the difficulty of the mission will decrease.

Jobs give you money and on rare instances favor points and items.

How do you get favor points?

When youre done with Jobs, youll get this  Bonus Job Mastery
      What are points used for?
Points can be exchanged for cash or Power/Respect regeneration. Some items can only be purchased with points. Items bought with points cannot be sold for cash.
Points can be used in the council
      What are families?
Crime Families are groups of players that have can chat privately, co-operate and participate in "family activities" together.

How do I create a family?
Click on the Family tab, and you will see the option to create an family if you are not in an family.

How do I join a family?
You can write on a crime family's wall asking to join. If they think you are qualified, a family admin or owner will send you an invitation into the family.

I will update soon for any infos...

      Gangs at War: Mercenaries

What is the benefit of mercenaries?
Mercenaries enhance your stats. They can also be sold to make a profit. When you sell a mercenary, you get back the original amount you paid plus a portion of the profit (although we tax each sale, so you'll lose money if you keep buying back the same mercenary). They also increase the amount you gain from winning a battle (this is capped by how much money your own gang can bring in).

Do I get anything if I am bought?
If you are bought, you get a portion of the profit. This amount is limited to $1 million.

How many mercenaries can I own?
You can own 250 mercenaries, but each time you reach game completion and reset, you can own more. See the News Forum for details.

When a mercenary leaves the game (due to a reset or inactivity), how come I only get a portion of the amount I paid back?

This is to prevent a loophole that can be exploited to generate infinite income.

For example, take 2 players (player A and player B) and a mercenary. If player A and B buy the mercenary from each other over and over again (known as volleying), they will make money. If the mercenary then resets, the final owner (let's say player B) will get his final purchase price back, and player A will have kept all the money he made.

Thus the final refund price on a reset must be adjusted by the profits made up to the point of reset.

How much money do I get back when I drop a mercenary or a mercenary leaves the game?
The amount that you receive from dropping a mercenary is 60% (that's 60% of the value you purchased them at, not 60% of their current value). Also, there is no infinite money loophole. Mercenaries drop in value after they are dropped, but their value is higher than the refund amount.

Why is part of my map grayed out?
The grayed (with a money symbol) out portion of your map indicates that you have not explored that neighborhood yet. You need to explore it before you can hire a boss to oversee the area.
you need $22,000 to claim the area

At the end of the war, cash collected during the war (i.e. the war tax amount) will be distributed to the winner
      * Winnings are distributed based on the contribution of a member in the war
      * Inactive members may get a small portion of winnings, dependent on how much of the pot is left after active player distribution.
      * During the war, active members are limited to 6 regenerations (using doctor's notes or extra credits) per 24 hour period
      * During the war, any active member can attack any other active member (no level restriction)
      * Once you become active in the war, you remain active until the war is over.
      * If you wish to leave the war and you are active, you must leave the club. Your contributions during the war are removed when this happens.

      PIMD: Extra credits

How do you get Extra Credits?
You can get extra credits by completing jobs. Every so often, jobs will give you 1 extra credit. Extra credits are also rewarded when you achieve certain goals throughout the game.

What are extra credits used for?
Extra credits can be exchanged for cash or regeneration. Some items can only be purchased with extra credits. Items bought with extra credits cannot be sold for cash.

Farming Pimd(pissed of the latest upgrade)

Yesterday afternoon, my friend from other club PM'ed me saying "open farming for pimd", I asked why?..."because im pissed with this latest update of PIMD". I think everybody is pissed, for the reason that the tutor market is down and everybody are keeping overpriced tutors and others chose to reset.

here's the screen shots when I attacked pimd.
      pimd is DTW
      pimd is the admin

      PIMD: Jobs

Why does the difficulty of a job keep changing?
The difficulty of a job is based on your current strength. If you lose you strength due to jobs or battles, the difficulty of the jobs will increase. If you regenerate your strength, the difficulty of the job will decrease.

What do you get from jobs?
Jobs give you cash and on rare instances Extra Credits and items.Source:

NB: Continue doing jobs even if you're done with it because they will still give you the chance of having free Extra Credits or Dr's Notes. Repetition of doing Jobs will give you more Credits after 24hrs.Based on my experience.

      PIMD: Battles

Why did I lose a fight?
The chance of winning of fight depends on your strength relative to your opponents. Whenever you fight another student, there is a probability that you will lose. Even if you are stronger than the student, you still have a small chance of losing the fight. To see the chances of you winning a battle, you must eavesdrop  them.

      How to win a dance-off?
Different from fighting, your chance of winning a dance-off depends on your intelligence. The smarter your are, the bigger chance you have to win a dance-off. Source:

NB: It is better Eavesdropping should be done during war or random attacks because your aim is to win against the opponent, to know the no. of dorms, the type of dorm mates(crew) that your opponent owned and at same time you are deducting the strength and intelligence of your rival.

Dance - if your opponent has low intelligence than yours
Fight- if your opponent has low strength than yours

PIMD: Items (Attacks, Defense and Showcase)

      When are defensive items used?
If you have defensive items, one of each item in your inventory is automatically used whenever someone attacks you.

How do you use offensive items?
If you have offensive items, you will be prompted to choose the items you with to use prior to battling someone.

      What are permanent items?
Permanent items are items that remain around forever. They give you a permanent enhancement to your strength. (not yet available)

NB: In buying defense you need to check for the strength and intelligence. To have equal defense on fight and dance you need to buy both(partners) items that will have balance protection for you against attacks. All are available in Store.
"Showcase" is the latest in the Items after PIMD updates
